This is an anticholinergic medication with the brand name Vesicare. It works by relaxing the bladder muscles and therefore can be used in those with overactive bladder. It cannot be used in someone with stress incontinence unless they have mixed incontinence. Common side effects which occur in more than 1% of people include dry mouth, headache, dizziness, diarrhoea or constipation, wind, stomach pain, dry eyes, blurred vision, and problems with emptying the bladder.
