This is a medication which works as a beta-3 agonist and can be used to treat an overactive bladder. It cannot be used in someone with stress incontinence unless they have mixed incontinence. Common and very common side effects which occur in between 1% to more than 10% of patients include arrhythmias, constipation, diarrhoea, dizziness, headache, increased risk of infection and nausea. There are also some rarer side effects such as lip swelling and palpitations.
